La Casa fue un proyecto de autogestión desarrollado junto al artista Tomás Fernández en una casa a punto de ser demolida, donde quince artistas fueron invitados a intervenir sus espacio. El gesto curatorial se sostuvo en entender la casa como un cuerpo compartido, con múltiples voces superpuestas, activado colectivamente justo antes de su desaparición.
Para el desarrollo de mi obra, trabajé desde los restos materiales del propio lugar. Papeles encontrados—documentos, formularios, notas— son base de la pintura, filtrándose como huella estructural más que como información legible.
Trabajar con lo dado no responde solo a una economía de recursos, sino a un modo de relacionarse con el lugar: escuchar lo que ya está inscrito en sus muros y asumir que cada gesto pictórico se suma a una memoria en curso.
La Casa was a self-organised project developed together with artist Tomás Fernández in a house about to be demolished, where fifteen artists were invited to intervene its spaces. The curatorial approach understood the house as a shared body, activated collectively by many overlapping voices just before its disappearance.
For my work, I started from the material remains of the place itself. Found papers—documents, forms, notes—became the ground for the painting, filtering through as a structural trace rather than as readable information.
Working with what was already there is not only a matter of resources, but a way of relating to the site: listening to what is already inscribed in its walls and acknowledging that each painterly gesture adds another layer to an ongoing memory.
